Pamela Berg, PhD
Director, Resource & Policy Development

Pamela Berg is the Director of Resource and Policy Development at the Praxis Spinal Cord Institute. Pamela specializes in building relationships with key government and SCI stakeholders, aligning strategic objectives, and identifying opportunities for collaboration. She is responsible for elucidating the intersection of health care policy and innovation with spinal cord injury, ensuring the national SCI network is resourced to make significant advances in health care and outcomes, and reporting these accomplishments to government partners. 

Pamela has a PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Waterloo, and a degree in Social Work from UBC. Prior to joining the Praxis Institute, she held scientific research positions in the academic, high-tech, and petrochemical sectors in Canada and internationally, and worked as a counsellor for individuals with disabilities. Pamela has successfully integrated her diverse range of professional experience to forge foundational partnerships with governments, researchers, health care providers, and the SCI community.
