Fred Rego, Director of Information Technology

Fred is a successful technology executive and strategist within the healthcare, aviation, and education sectors and a long-term entrepreneur with a wide range of experience in the tech startup ecosystem. In his 30 years of IT and 26 years of entrepreneurship, he has co-founded ten tech startups, including VanHack, AeroTrack, Acecla, and AeroInfo Systems, purchased by The Boeing Company.

Fred also coaches young entrepreneurs and teaches Innovation, Ideation, and Business Management at Tamwood Global Startup School. Fred is a mentor at the BC Aviation Council, an independent consultant, a Business Advisor at Volition Advisors, and a panel judge at several startup screenings and competitions. Fred is also an angel investor and currently sits on a few advisory boards.
