Candace Hernandez

Director, Marketing & Communications

Candace Hernandez is the Director, Marketing & Communications at Praxis and oversees all brand, communications and marketing to effectively demonstrate and educate the public and key stakeholders that Praxis is a global leader in the SCI community while creating positive awareness.

With 15 years of marketing and communications experience, Candace has mastered her craft with large organizations in the food, lottery, retail and health care sectors. In 2019, Candace made the switch from the private sector to non-profit leveraging her expertise to help drive fundraising, support donor stewardship and raise public awareness.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Royal Roads University and BCIT, her educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce, plus designations in event management, sales and marketing. She also achieved her APR (Accredited Public Relations) designation in 2021 from the Canadian Public Relations Society.
