Welcome Dr. Valérie Bonnardel-Vacqué to the Praxis Board
Praxis is pleased to welcome Dr. Valérie Bonnardel-Vacqué to its Board of Directors.
An accomplished leader in innovation, technology transfer, research commercialization, and strategic partnership development, Valérie brings extensive experience connecting research organizations, industry, entrepreneurs, and innovation ecosystems. Valérie currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of CTT Group (technology transfer center specialized in technical textiles, advanced textile-based materials and geosynthetics).
An innovation leader, scientist, and engineer, Valérie holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Lille and a master’s degree in engineering from École Centrale de Marseille. Throughout her career across Canada and Europe, she has championed collaboration between researchers and industry, helping to accelerate innovation and promote the successful adoption of research-driven solutions.
Valérie’s expertise in innovation, technology transfer, and research commercialization makes her an outstanding addition to the Praxis Board as the organization continues to advance collaboration, research impact, and real-world solutions across Canada. Her strategic perspective and commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships will be valuable assets as Praxis advances its work at the intersection of research, innovation, and care.
Praxis is a Vancouver, BC-based not-for-profit organization that accelerates the translation of discoveries and best practices into real-world solutions and improved outcomes for people living with spinal cord injuries (SCI). The Praxis Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and overseeing its governance. Drawing on diverse expertise and perspectives, board members help shape priorities, foster accountability, and support Praxis in advancing research and innovation that leads to meaningful improvements in the lives of Canadians living with SCI.
