Praxis-HSO National Standard of Canada (NSC) for Spinal Cord Injury

Praxis Spinal Cord Institute and the Health Standards Organization (HSO) are pleased to announce the Public Notice of Intent for the development of a more comprehensive and enhanced National Standard of Canada (NSC) for spinal cord injury (SCI).

The NSC for SCI will outline the requirements for timely access to well-coordinated SCI care and services, informed by the needs of individuals with SCI and defined by the person’s continuum and trajectory of care.

HSO is convening a Spinal Cord Injury Technical Committee to lead the development of CAN/HSO S3402:2022– Integrated People-Centred Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program.
